Dan transfers from Hillcrest to the International School of Kenya (ISK). The school is run by the American and Canadian embassies and is much more relaxed in its educational style. Dan is still small for his age when he arrives and struggles with certain subjects because of dyslexia. Immediately, however, he is more relaxed and happy.
