1984: A Film

The film Out of Africa, starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford is filmed in Kenya. It’s a circus-like event, with film people seeming to take over all of Nairobi. Dan and Amy play extras, dressing up in vintage costumes. For one scene, Dan plays a boy who accidentally runs into Meryl Street’s character, the famous ex-pat Karin Blixen, a.k.a. Isak Dinesen.
