1978: Family Life

Dan writes to his friends in England describing a safari. When he wasn’t looking, a baboon stole his chocolate mousse, he writes. The family explores the entire country, from the beautiful coastal beaches to the animal parks which have long made Kenya a popular destination for both hunters and environmentalists. They become friends with the Leakey family, the reknown paleontologists, as well as journalists, artists, and conservationists.
