The Bag Factory in Joburg houses many artist studios and a dazzling gallery. Loved the vibe of the neighborhood- and the Mexican restaurant where we had lunch. Had a wild visit to SABC (state TV network) which included a desperate sprint (super fast hobble) down endless hallways in pursuit of a frazzled producer who hustled me into a studio where Ayanda Paine, the stunning African equivalent of Diane Sawyer, interviewed me– and then graciously invited our actors to visit her arts project in Soweto. Today I met artists and writers, broadcasters and lecturers– and planted the seeds for Creative Visions in South Africa. Who wants to join us? It’s going to be a wild-but exciting ride!  Tomorrow – 5 am wake up for a recce with all the department heads whom I met tonight. They are all wonderful, talented and passionate about our film. Black and blue from pinching myself.
