Dan Eldon Inspired Artwork from Bucharest, Romania!

Greg Giles, a high school art teacher at the International School in Bucharest, Romania, recently shared his Grade 10 student’s artwork – all inspired by Dan’s journals.  Greg has worked in schools in Tanzania, Ecuador, and is traveling to Addis Ababa this summer.

Built into the curriculum, “Students engage in a viewing of his [Dan’s] journal pages and a critique of the works, followed by the creation of a series of works which ultimately end up in book form.  It seems that of all the projects we do, the students are most proud of the finished products for this particular assignment.  They are not only touched by Dan, but they are also thrilled to find out more about themselves and to see that in such an expressive form.”
