How has Dan inspired me? An example, I was walking out of a restaurant few months back and heard a little girl crying. She was around the corner and I made it just in time to see her dad hit her across the face, yelling at her for walking too slowly. He looked rough and our eyes met, I wanted to confront him but I thought maybe he had a gun. So instead I comforted the girl and walked to my car. My first thought was what would Dan do. And then I walked back to the girl and her dad. So maybe I’m a little bolder when I need to be, a little more caring of others, a better person. He’s also taught me to appreciate life.
