Shawn Waite

I first saw Dan’s Journals in his book “The Journey Is The Destination”. I was browsing the Art section of a book store when I spotted it. As soon as I opened the book, I knew I wanted it. I sat down right then and looked over every page. I later bought the book and it is the biggest source of inspiration for me. Each page bleeds emotion and passion. Early in 2001, I began my own Dan-Inspired Journal. I put everything and anything into my journal. There are pictures, drawings, paintings, stickers, newspaper clipings, and stories inside it. I love that I can do whatever I want inside of my book. It holds a ton of memories for me. It has become more than just a journal, it is my on-going art project that will never be completely finished.
