Destination Life | Dan Inspired Journal of the Soul Welcome. My name is Bill Egsieker and I am the Online Gallery Curator for the Dan Eldon website. If you are like me, you have been inspired by one of life’s most unique people, Dan Eldon. Dan has inspired so many people around the world to reach deep inside themselves, and dare them to act beyond their limits; to let go of self-inhibitions and become the best they can be. When I first learned about Dan, I thought, what a shame that a man so young and full of life was stoned to death by the very people he was trying to help. At first, I didn’t realize the impact of what Dan had done in life. Then, as I learned more about him, I felt this awakening inside. An awakening like I had never experienced before. I started noticing the beauty of everything. I had always wanted to write a song. I knew I had it in me to do so, but I wasn’t quite sure how to go about it, nor did I have a subject to really inspire me. Then, one morning I woke up and walked over to my keyboard and started working on a song about Dan. The entire time I was working on “Dan’s Dreams”, I felt like Dan was standing over me, watching and lending me a hand. From that day on, I have reached deep inside my soul to unmask myself for the world to see. Dan used to wear an ape mask when he would get into precarious situations. Let’s do the opposite and unmask ourselves. By doing so, we can achieve the perfect balance of living with people, our world and beyond. Everyone has an important place in this world. We are all important in one way, shape or form. By working together, we can become the epitome of the human existence. Don’t be afraid to remove your mask. Reach deep inside yourself, free your soul and become the person you have always wanted to be. If you have been inspired by Dan Eldon in any way, please share your creations with us and be part of our Journal of the Soul. Let us know how YOUR life has been impacted by Dan and share your thoughts, poems, art, humanitarian projects, life experiences, whatever you have been destined to do. Dan had a dream of making this world a better place. I believe we all have the same dream. Let’s work together to make Dan’s dreams come true.
