Throwback Thursday
Does the 1st of every month sneak up on you like your parent’s birthday before you were able to get a card in the mail? It’s understandable. 2014 is flying by and I hate to break it to you my friend, but it’s practically almost May!
With so much excitement brewing this year, it seemed necessary to throw it back to 2013 to a couple events that showcased Dan’s art.
Last June, Dan’s journals, books, and prints traveled to AMFM Fest, a four-day festival at the Mary Pickford Theater in Cathedral City, California. Dan’s work was on display all weekend surrounded by talented artists, musicians, and filmmakers.
A few months later, there was an event at Bergamot Station in Los Angeles, California to celebrate what would be Dan’s 44th birthday. It was a fun and joyful Saturday night. People played with the never-before-seen virtual Dan Eldon gallery, Snow in Africa performed, and Dan fans participated in a silent auction featuring Dan’s print, “Hands,” signed by Jason Russell. There were also many people hearing Dan’s story for the first time. It was a successful night indeed!
Check out these pictures from both nights!
